  • Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely; we never see or store your raw password).
  • Content you provide: questions and answers you paste or create, quiz results, exam attempts, and study progress.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited billing details (such as plan, status, and last four digits of a card) needed to manage your subscription.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and similar technical information, collected automatically to help us operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating quizzes and flashcards from your pasted content and tracking your study progress;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Communicate with you about your account, billing, or updates to the Service;
  • Improve the Service and develop new features;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations, including:

  • Supabase (or our database/authentication provider) - for account storage and data hosting;
  • Stripe - for payment processing;
  • Anthropic (or our AI provider) - to power AI-assisted features, such as suggesting a correct answer for pasted quiz content. Content you submit for this purpose may be sent to the AI provider to generate a response.

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law (such as payment records for tax purposes).

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
